Open "Setting/System/GPS" on the phone

1. Set "GPS program port" to COM4.
2. Leave "GPS hardware port" as None.
3. Set "Baud rate" to 4800.
4. Tick "Manage GPS automatically".
5. Tap OK

Method 1. Launch GPS Utilities, open "Menu/GPS Setup".

1. Select "GID"
2. Tap OK

Method 2. Launch GPS Utilities, open "Menu/GPS Setup".

1. Select "COM/GPD"
2. Set "COM Port" to COM4.
3. Set "Baud Rate" to 4800.
4. Tap OK

Start GPS from "Menu/Start GPS".

Note: It's a good idea to try different rates (change the two rates above together) should there be any problem.

HP iPAQ hw6915 / HP iPAQ hw6925 / HP iPAQ hw6945 / HP iPAQ hw6965 (built-in GPS receiver)

Open "Setting/System/GPS" on the phone

1. Set "GPS program port" to COM2 or GPD1~9.
2. Set "GPS hardware port" to COM7.
3. Set "Baud rate" to 19200.
4. Tick "Manage GPS automatically".
5. Tap OK

Method 1. Launch GPS Utilities, open "Menu/GPS Setup".

1. Select "GID".
2. Tap OK

Method 2. Launch GPS Utilities, open "Menu/GPS Setup".

1. Select "COM/GPD".
2. Set "COM Port" to COM2 or GPD1~9 (same as above).
3. Set "Baud Rate" to 19200.
4. Tap OK

Start GPS from "Menu/Start GPS".
